Report: iPhone 6 may be Available in July 2014 Instead of September

According to several technical websites that Apple will launch its new smartphone "iPhone 6" in the next summer , specifically in the month of July, and that contrary to expectations , which it was expected to be released in September.


The Mizuho Securities company for financial analyzes was provided a report to its clients indicates that Apple will reveal the iPhone 6 in July instead of September or October, as was rumored.

The launch of the iPhone 6 in the month of July is a good chance to take advantage of the holiday season by the end of the year where it will be available in most markets of the world.

According to financial analyst Abhey Lamba , the device will come in two different sizes, the first 4.7-inch and second 5.5-inch, and they will running "IOS 8" operating system which will be presented for the first time the possibility for developers to use the definition of fingerprint of users in their applications.

Samsung Unveils Galaxy S5 Smartphone with 5.1-inch Display, 16 MP Camera and Fingerprint Reader

Samsung has officially unveiled  the new smartphone "Galaxy S5" at a special event held on the sidelines of its participation in the Mobile World Congress "MWC 2014"  is being held in the Spanish city of Barcelona.



The "Galaxy S5" smartphone features from the previous version "Galaxy S4" in:
Larger screen by 0.1 inch.
More sophisticated processor and rear camera.
Reader for fingerprint.
Sensitive to read the heartbeat.
Resistance to water and dust.
Samsung's new smartphones has 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD resolution, also has 2.5 GHz Snapdragon 805 Quad-core processor from Qualcomm.

Samsung Galaxy S5 has 2 GB of random memory capacity, and 16/32 GB of internal memory storage, with the ability to increase the memory via an external MicroSD card up to 128 GB.

The accuracy rear camera in the new smartphone 16 megapixels , a camera that has been supported by developed sensor, and LED flash light, and the advantage of the rapid auto focus while shooting and video recording , with speed of 0.3 seconds.


Samsung said that the camera of  "Galaxy S5" can be compared with professional imaging cameras, a camera capable of recording video with resolution of 2160 pixels and at 30 frames per second, while the accuracy of the front camera in the new smartphone 2 MP, which is capable of recording Full HD video at 30 frames per second.

The new smartphone features for the fingerprint reader, and the company stressed that the information that is stored by the fingerprint reader is encrypted in secret inside the device and is not shared with any other second party.

Samsung described the new device as the first smartphone featuring sensor to read the heart rate, a sensor located in the rear of the device, as the company explained that the device is powered by standard IP67 for resistance to water and dust, and the new generation of technology to protect the data KNOX.

Galaxy S5 will put forward with 2800 mAh battery with a special status, called Ultra saving mode, to save part of the battery power to hold about 24 hours in standby mode.

The new smartphone includes Kids Mode, which allows the user of "Galaxy S5" post with his children without the fear of losing data, or the use of any features are not allowed to use .

Samsung Galaxy S5 will be available in four main colors are white, cyan, gold, and black, Samsung plans to launch the new smartphone on April 11 in a number of global markets , as the company did not reveal any information about the expected price of the device.

WhatsApp Founder Announces the Provision of Voice Communication in the Second Quarter of the Current Year

Jan Koum, co-founder of the "WhatsApp" application, has announced that the application will provide voice communication service in the second quarter of this year. 


Jan Koum said in his speech today at the Mobile World Congress "MWC 2014" being held in Barcelona from 24 to 27 February: "We will provide the voice communication service through "WhatsApp" application in the second quarter of this year".

Koum added that the voice communication service is scheduled to be available in the iPhone and Android devices in the beginning, to be made ​​available later for devices which running BlackBerry and Windows Phone operating systems.

Nokia Reveals Three Smartphones Running Android Operating System

Nokia has officially announced the first smartphones which running Android operating system, as part of its participation in the Mobile World Congress "MWC 2014", which kicks off today in Barcelona, ​​Spain.

Nokia X supports Dual SIM cards, and it has 4 inch IPS LCD screen with resolution of 800 × 480 pixels, it is powered by 1 GHz dual-core Snapdragon 200 processor, and has 512 MB of RAM, 4 GB of internal storage memory.

The "Nokia X" has 3 MP rear camera, in addition to a battery with a capacity of 1500 mAh.

With regard to "Nokia X+" and "Nokia XL", Nokia said that the first offer more internal storage space, in addition to that it supports memory expansion via memory microSD cards, the second comes with 5 inch screen, 5 megapixel rear camera, and 2 megapixel front camera.

Sony Unveils its New Smartphone "Xperia Z2" with 5.2 Full HD Screen

Sony has unveiled its new smartphone "Xperia Z2", a device that will compete within the top tier phones .


Sony Xperia Z2 has a screen with new IPS technology, called Live Color LEDs developed by Sony, a technology that improves the clarity and color contrast in the screens of smartphones to make them closer to the truth .

The new smartphone has 5.2 inch Full HD screen with resolution of 1080 × 1920 pixels, while the intensities of the pixels in the screen 424 pixels per inch.

Facebook Announces the Acquisition of "WhatsApp"

Facebook announced that it had acquired the instant messaging application "WhatsApp” in a deal estimated at $16 billion dollars divided between the amount paid in cash and the shares in the company that owns the largest social network on the Internet.


Facebook will pay the amount of $12 billion as shares, while four billion dollars will be paid in cash, according to the report submitted by the company to the Securities and Exchange Commission.

As part of the deal, the working group of "WhatsApp" will join the Facebook, where Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook and its chief executive, confirmed that "WhatsApp" will operate independently within the company.

Samsung Plans to Launch "Galaxy S5" at A Competitive Price

Samsung Company is planning put forward its awaited smartphone "Galaxy S5" at a competitive price compared with the prices at which it sold its famous phones, such as the "Galaxy S4".



The move comes from Samsung for the purpose of granting "Galaxy S5" competitive advantage, not only in order to compete with big mobile companies like "Apple" and "HTC " , but in order to compete with companies lesser-known , which its phones characterized by relatively low prices.

Samsung Galaxy S5 will come with 5.2 inch screen, characterized by a higher resolution from "Galaxy S4" smartphone .

The expected Galaxy smartphone will be provided with fingerprint reader based within the main button "Home Button", with the possibility of recording the fingerprints of up to 8 fingers and use them as shortcuts to perform various tasks , such as shortcuts to open certain applications through passing the finger over the main button.

Apple and Google Decide to Ban any Applications Carries the Name "Flappy"

Apple and Google began to ban all applications that bear the name "Flappy" from "App Store" and "Google Play", after the emergence of number of applications that carry malicious software of the same name.


Some of developers took advantage of the big fame achieved by the "Flappy Bird" game, which have been permanently deleted from "App Store" and "Google Play", to launch applications like it contain malicious software aimed at lovers of the game.

Apple and Google have decided to not to approve any requests for the deployment of new applications with the same name of the deleted game, or part of the name on "App Store" or "Google Play", in addition to deleting applications included the name of "Flappy "and located on the stores.

Dozens of application developers forced to change the names of their applications , including applications that do not involve any threats or malicious software, in order to ensure the continued presence on the applications stores of smart devices.


The malicious applications that have been published after deleting of "Flappy Bird" game from "App Store" and "Google Play" was aimed at stealing information for users of smart devices, in addition to exploiting the power to send text messages to carry out commands such as sending short text messages to specific numbers without the knowledge of the owner of the phone.

It should be noted that the original developer of "Flappy Bird" game had decided to withdraw the application from "App Store" and "Google Play" despite the large popularity, justifying his decision that the game is too addictive.

iPhone 6 may be Thinner and Lighter than its Predecessors

According to a report that the iPhone smartphones and iPad tablets will be bigger in the size, but may be thinner and lighter than its predecessors.


The report was based on sources from some manufacturers for these products , which indicated that the next iPhone "iPhone 6" will be provided by very light structure and 4.7 inch screen with 0.4 mm of side thickness of the screen, which less than 0.2 mm of thickness of the iPhone 5S phone's screen.

The report indicates that the actual launch will be in the month of June, not September, which is the month in which the company usually launches its smartphones.

For iPad tablets , have proliferated with the end of last year reports and rumors about the intention of the company to produce tablets larger in the size as the iPad Pro and size of 12.9 inch , the screens of it  will be less thickness by 0.2 mm from the current  tablet iPad Air in order to maintain the same weight.

Facebook Allows its Users to Define Gender Without Male or Female

Facebook has launched a new feature that allows users to determine their gender by other than male or female, a feature that launched in conjunction with the global celebration of Valentine's Day. 


Facebook explained that the new feature will help users of the social network on the definition of their identity in better way, where those users are now able to define their gender freely without being bound by male or female. 

Through the new feature, the social network allowed its users a third option as well as male and female, the new option is "Custom", which allows the user to write his gender freely without restriction options.


The gender chosen by the user, within the new feature, will appear in his personal account for the rest of the users, where Facebook confirmed that one of the main reasons for the launch of this feature is to allow all users to share their true sexual identity with others.

The feature is currently available for only 19% of Facebook users, where Facebook began to test the feature to its users in the United States, without revealing any details about the possibility put forward for the rest of users around the world.

It is noteworthy that Facebook used by 1.23 billion active user monthly, including 757 million daily active users, also referred to that about 81% of social network users are from outside the United States.

IBM Developed Technology Allows Access to the Internet at Speed of 400 Gbps

IBM Company has developed a technology allows access to high-speed connection to the Internet, ranging from 200 to 400 Gbps. 

Analog-to-digital converters developed by IBM 

This technology was unveiled on Wednesday during the ISSCC conference in San Francisco city in, by Swiss researchers affiliated to the company.

The researchers pointed out that their technology relies on "analog-to-digital converters" ADC, which allows data centers to share data  faster four times than the highest speed available these days.

For example, this high-speed allows to download 160 GB, which is equivalent to the size of a movie with 4K resolution during only a few seconds.

The researchers reviewed a model of "analog-to-digital converter" that has been developed, which Semtech Corp company will use it in data transmission over fiber-optic for long distance, and in advanced radar systems, also expected that the new technology will be used in space research.

The transformers will be built to be used by the Semtech company according to the 32-nanometer technology, and it allow the nucleus of the converter to generate 128 billion Analog to Digital conversion process in the second, the consumption does not exceed 2.1 watts. 

It is worth mentioning that these converters can work with those high speed without  consume unacceptable amounts of energy, according to the researcher "Pierre Andrea Francis".

Samsung Unveils "Galaxy Mega Plus" Smartphone with 5.8-inch Screen and Quad-core Processor

Samsung Company have unveiled its new smartphone "Galaxy Mega Plus" equipped with 5.8-inch screen and quad-core processor.


The new smartphone carrying I9152P model number, it supports communication via two SIM cards, and powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, while its screen comes with resolution of 960 × 540 pixels.

It was provided by 1.5 GB of random access memory (RAM), and 8 GB of internal storage expandable via microSD cards.


The smartphone features 8 megapixel rear camera, and 1.9 megapixel front facing camera, and running Android 4.2.2 operating system, it comes with dimensions of 162.6 × 82.4 × 8.99 mm, and weighing 183.5 grams, and has battery capacity of 2,600 mAh.


Samsung Galaxy Mega Plus smartphone appears on the company's Chinese website, which will be launched initially in that market, without reference to the date of launch in other markets, or to its price.

Facebook Celebrates 10-Year Anniversary and Launched Look Back Page

Facebook has launched a new page on its website allows users to review the most prominent  footage from their personal accounts on the social network.


This page comes on the sidelines of company celebrate 10th anniversary of its founding, where the social networking site came to light for the first time on the fourth of February in 2004. 

Facebook explained  that "Look Back" page will allow the users  to see video combines of the most prominent footage from their personal accounts since they joined the social network.

The video review the first footage of the user on the social network, and the posts that get the most number of likes, as well as the most prominent images that he shared on his personal account.

The user can watch his video through "A Look Back" page, facebook.com/lookback.

The "Facebook" was launched in 2004 as a social network dedicated for communication between American college students , but it evolved during the past ten years to become the largest social network on the Internet.
