Intel has unveiled a tiny
computer dedicated to wearable devices, during Consumer Electronics Show
"CES 2014" currently taking place in Las Vegas city of America.
The new computer carrying
the name "Edison", and comes to the size and shape of the
"SD" memory card, it is powered by "Quark" dual-core
processor, which announced by Intel last September and dedicated to wearable
market devices , as a result of very low energy consumption.
"Edison"
running Linux operating system, and supports connection to wireless
networks "Wi-Fi" and Bluetooth, also Intel designed application
store dedicated to this computer.
Intel reviewed a number
of devices that can benefit from the "Edison" computer, where they
can benefit from it in wearable devices are customized to monitor vital signs
when some children , and then send alert signals when necessary.
