LG has officially
announced the "G Flex" smartphone, which is the first curved
smartphone from LG, where the new device has plastic screen technology
(P-OLED) which is flexible and gives the device a bow on the horizontal
axis.
According to LG company,
the thickness of G Flex smartphone ranging between 7.9 and 8.7 millimeters, and
weighs 177 grams, it also has 6-inch screen with accurately 720p.
As for the interior
specifications of G Flex, it is powered by 2.26 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800
processor from "Qualcomm" company , along with Adreno 300 graphics processor.
G Flex smartphone comes
with 2 GB of random access memory (RAM) , in addition
to 13 megapixels rear camera , and 2.1
megapixels front-facing camera, the device's battery has capacity up to
3,500 mAh.
On the software side, G
Flex smartphone is running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system with
(UX) user interface. In terms of communications, G Flex supports
the fourth generation networks (LTE), supports Bluetooth 4.0
technology , wireless networking "Wi-Fi", and NFC
technology.
LG said that the new
smartphone comes with many unique and exclusive features , including:
"QTheater" which gives users quick access to images, video, and
YouTube from the lock screen directly.
From new features,
"Dual Window" which split the screen into two windows separate
to do multi-tasks more efficiently, and "Swing
Lockscreen" feature which change the lockscreen depending on the how
you hold the smartphone, in addition to the other features.
As in LG G2 smartphone, G
Flex comes with volume control buttons and turn off/on button at the back of
it. G Flex is the second curved smartphone in the market, earlier Samsung has
announced its first curved smartphone which carries the name "GalaxyRound".
It is worth mentioning
that the G Flex smartphone will be launched next month in the South Korean
market, LG said that the device will be available in additional markets later,
there is no information about the price of the smartphone.Specifications of G Flex Smartphone:
