Google has officially unveiled its new smartphone
which carries the name "Nexus 5”, which runs the recent Android 4.4 Kit
Kat operating system.
Nexus 5 smartphone
comes with 4.95-inch display with resolution of 1080 × 1920 pixels
and protected by a layer of Gorilla Glass 3, it is powered by 2.3
GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and has 2 GB of random
access memory (RAM).
The new smartphone
has 8 megapixel rear camera with Announcement of the
optical image, and 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera.
Nexus 5
smartphone is available in black and white colors,
and available in two storage capacities: 16 GB and
32 GB, it works with a battery capacity of 2300 mAh, it weighs 130 grams and
has thickness of 8.59 millimeters.
Google's device
is available for request via Google Play store in the United States starting
today in black and white, priced at $349 for 16 GB version and $399 for
32 GB version.
Google also
launched a range of accessories to Nexus 5 such as protective cover for the
back-end and side parties, available in four colors black, gray, red, and
yellow, this cover protect the device from the four limbs and background and
has openings for the camera, flash, charging port and earphones, it also
supports the possibility of wireless charging and no need to remove it in order
to charge the device wirelessly, the cover price is $34.99 and weighs 19 grams.
Also from
the accessories, Google launched protection cover for the back-end
and front-end, it opens the smartphone's lock when it is opened, it is
available in two colors black and white. This cover protect the device from all
limbs with openings for the buttons, cameras and ports, and there
is LG logo on
the rear part , it also supports the possibility of
wireless charging and no need to remove it in order to charge the device
wirelessly, the cover price is $49.99 and weighs 39
grams.
