CES 2014: Fujifilm Unveils Portable Instant Photo Printer for Smart Devices

Fujifilm Company has unveiled its new printer "Instax Share SP-1", which is characterized by small size in addition to the ability to print captured images using smart devices, whether phones or tablets.


Fujifilm explained that the Instax Share SP-1 printer comes with application compatible with Apple smart devices which running iOS operating system, as well as Android smart devices.

The company said that the application allows the user to print photos immediately after taking them, or prints images already exists on his smartphone, or import images from his account on Facebook and Instagram.

The printer providing instant pictures the size of credit cards, nearly the size of 3.4 inches, and is characterized by its ability to complete the printing operations without the need to be connected to a source of electricity.

The Instax Share SP-1 printer includes new battery able to withstand even print a hundred image, where the process of printing one picture take nearly 16 seconds.

The company confirmed that the new printer weighing about 253 grams, which is able to connect to the Internet via the "Wi-Fi", as it is able to print instant images for once or several times automatically.

Fujifilm will put "Instax Share SP-1" printer in the month of April this year, at price of $199, and it will provide the printer with films box which includes 10 films ready to print them, at price of $20.95.
