Samsung is planning to launch Mid-Range Smartphone Runs Windows Phone 8.1, Called "ATIV Core"

Samsung intends to launch a new smartphone to run on the new version of Windows Phone operating system, which called Windows Phone 8.1, the device falls under the category of medium- spec devices.


The new smartphone will carry the name "ATIV Core", and it will running Windows Phone 8.1 operating system from Microsoft, it will compete in the medium specifications smartphone market, according to Sammobile website.

Last year, Samsung suspended launching smartphones running "Windows Phone", and focused on devices running "Android" operating system.

Samsung ATIV Core smartphone will come with 4.5-inch screen measured and accurately 720p, it will offer 1 GB of RAM and a battery capacity of 2,100 mAh.

It is expected that the prospective smartphone has 8 or 13 megapixels camera, but the strongest possibility is 8 megapixel because the fact that the medium specifications phones come with such precision.

It is not clear when Samsung launch its ATIV Core smartphone, but reference to the deadline set by Nokia for the arrival of the first smartphone running the new operating system, SamMobile website predicted to launch the phone in May.
