Microsoft has announced a new update of Skype application for iOS operating system, the new update available in two versions for iPhone smartphone and iPad tablet.

The new version 4.17 of Skype application for Apple devices supports high-resolution video "HD" on "iPhone 5S", in addition to the possibility of receiving chat messages when the application is closed, and it is possible to synchronize chat messages more quickly on various platforms.
Microsoft explained that it made improvements in the new version of Skype application and blocked some of the gaps, this leads to increase the speed of the application.
