HP Plans to Unveil Android Laptop "Slatebook 14"

HP Company intends to launch a laptop carries the name "Slatebook 14", and it will running Android operating system.

As well as being running Android, the new laptop comes with Google Play store and Google's applications, as well as many third-party applications that run on the operating system being developed by Google.

With regard to the interior specifications, "Slatebook 14" powered by NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor or NVIDIA Tegra 1K quad core processor, it also offers 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage with the ability to increase it by microSD cards, and it supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth communication networks.

The device has Beats Audio technology, it also has HDMI port and USB ports. It supports SIM card.

HP did not reveal the scheduled date to officially unveil its new laptop, or the sale price.

Dell Unveiled "Precision M2800" Workstation with 15-inch Full HD Screen and 4th Generation CPU

Dell has unveiled the "Dell Precision M2800" workstation, which has 15-inch screen, and a low price compared to the price of the rest of the laptops of the same class. 

The Dell Precision M2800 workstation comes with Core i5 or Core i7 fourth generation "Haswell" processors of Intel, and 2 GB of FirePro W4170M graphics processing unit of AMD, in addition to 16 GB of random access memory, and 1 terabyte of internal storage.

The new device contribute to fill the gap between laptops and business workstations, where the developed  hardware specifications allowing to perform various necessary  tasks, and to run programs that interest to engineers, designers and video editors, as the company said on its website.

The screen supports FULL HD resolution, also supports connectivity with multiple screens, and Dell will offer the device for sale next spring, with prices starting from $1199.

Apple Announced New Versions of MacBook Pro with 13-inch & 15-inch Retina Displays

As we mentioned in an earlier article that Apple has announced new products during a special event held in San Francisco city, where the company announced the latest versions of its "iPad" tablet, also it announced new versions of its MacBook Pro laptops with Retina displays and comes in two sizes: 13-inch and 15-inch.

The 15-inch MacBook Pro powered by the fourth generation of Intel quad-core processors (Haswell), in addition to powerful graphics card produced by NVIDIA, and 2 GB of random access memory (RAM).

  

The new 15-inch devices has 128 GB of SSD storage, the device's battery lasting up to 8 hours because of  new processor, the price of 15-inch MacBook Pro starting at $1,999.

The 13-inch MacBook Pro is thinner and lighter which does not exceed the weight ‪1.5 kilogram, as does not exceed thickness 18 centimeters, also powered by the fourth generation of Intel dual-core processors (Haswell) and "Iris" graphics processor, the two processors make the performance of the device faster by 90% compared to the previous version, according to the Apple. 

  

The new 13-inch devices has SSD internal storage and supports data transfer interface "Thunderbolt 2", the device's battery lasting upto 9 hours because of new processor, the price of 13-inch MacBook Pro starting at $1,299.

Dell Announces Three Laptops Belongs to XPS Series

Dell has announced three of its laptops belongs to XPS series at a conference held Wednesday in New York city, where the company has unveiled three new laptops XPS 15, XPS 13 and XPS 11.

Dell described the  XPS 15 laptop as the best laptop in XPS, where the laptop has a 15.6-inch screen operates at a resolution of 1800 x 3200 pixels.

  

The screen of XPS 15 supports touch, also holds a scratch-resistant layer from Gorilla glass, and it provided with IGZO display technology from "Sharp", and that technology offers high resolution without much consumption of battery power.

XPS 15 laptop works with the fourth generation of Intel processors "Haswell", and integrated graphics card, with the ability to add an external graphics card Geforce 750M from "NVIDIA".

  

Dell will provide XPS 15 laptop with 500 GB or 1 TB storage as well as SSD disk storage with a capacity of 32 GB or 512 GB, also Dell will provide the laptop with three USB 3.0 ports, SD memory card port, HDMI port and USB 2.0 port.

  

The second laptop carries the name XPS 13, it has 13.3 Full HD screen operates at a resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels, the screen supports touch and holds a scratch-resistant layer from Gorilla glass.

XPS 13 has 128 GB or 256 GB of storage, and it works with the fourth generation of Intel processors "Haswell" and provided with tow USB 3.0 ports and Intel HD 4400 graphics card .

  

Also Dell has revealed XPS 11 laptop, it has 1.6 inch touch screen operates at a resolution of 2560 x 1440, it can be used as a laptop computer or a tablet.

   

XPS 11 design allows to put the keyboard behind the screen, in order to convert it to a tablet, or return the keyboard to use it as a laptop.

   

It is worth mentioning that the three laptops will be running Microsoft Windows 8.1, and it is expected that Dell XPS 15 price will start from $1499.99, while XPS 13 and XPS 11 price will start from $999.99.

HP Unveiled Several Business Laptops Belongs to "EliteBook" and "ProBook" Series

HP has unveiled several business laptops belongs to "EliteBook" and "ProBook" series produced by the company.

The new EliteBook laptops comes with thickness lower than 40%, and the weight lighter by about 28%, and battery life is longer compared with previous generations of this series, making it suitable for those who travels frequently.

Dell Announced Several New Inspiron Laptops with Touch Screen and Windows 8.1

Dell has announced several new laptops belong to the "Inspiron" series, which has touch screen and long battery life.

The first laptop which belongs to the series "Dell Inspiron 3000", it has the name of "Inspiron 11", where it was provided with 11.6 inch touch screen with 1366 × 768 pixels of resolution, and the battery reaches to 8 hours, it is running Windows 8.1 operating system, in addition to Microsoft Office package.

"Inspiron 11" comes in two versions, the first version has AMD processors and cost $349, while the second version has fourth generation of Intel processors "Haswell" and cost $379, these versions will be put for sale on October 2.

Dell also announced new laptops belong to the series "Inspiron 7000", all of them comes with touch screen, ranging from 14 to 17 inch with resolution of 1366 × 768 pixels, with a choice of providing these screens possibility of supporting Full HD. Inspiron 7000 series has provided with the fourth generation of Intel processors "Haswell", in addition to the option of providing these laptops with SSD storage.

"Inspiron 7000" features is battery life ranges from 8 to 12 hours, and a cover from aluminum, with a thickness ranging from 0.6 to 1.1 inch, its screens equipped with "Gorilla" glass which  resistant to scratches, and it has backlit keyboard..

Lenovo Unveiled Several "ThinkPad" Laptops with Haswell Processor

Lenovo is one of the largest companies in the world in producing laptops, it produces many laptop series such as "ThinkPad" series.

Lenovo has just unveiled several laptops belonging to the series "ThinkPad", the unveiling happened during Intel Developer Forum 2013 (IDF2013), which taking place in San Francisco city, Lenovo said that it supported all of these laptops via forth generation processors "Haswell" which produced by Intel.

  

One of the new laptops holds name "ThinkPad W540", which Lenovo said it considers the most powerful mobile workstation, it has 15.5 inch 3K IPS display with 2,880 x 1,620 resolution, and Intel Haswell quad-core i7 processor, it has up to 32 GB of RAM and 2 TB (2000 GB) internal storage.

ThinkPad W540 has a battery capable of operating for 6 hours of continuous, Lenovo did not announce the price of this laptop, but said it will become available for sale in November.

Lenovo also announced two laptops dedicated to business, namely "ThinkPad T440p" and "ThinkPad T540p", lenovo provided them also Intel Core i7 processor , and GT730M card graphics from NVIDIA, Lenovo said that the battery life up to 13.7 hours for "T440p", and 12.6 hours for "T540p", Lenovo did not announce the price of these laptops, but it said they will be available for sale in November.

Lenovo also unveiled "ThinkPad L440" laptop which has battery life up to 12 hours, and price starting of $729, and "ThinkPad L540" laptop which supplied with battery reaches to 11 hours, and price starting of $729, also Lenovo unveiled "ThinkPad E440" laptop with price starts from $861, and "ThinkPad E540" laptop with price starts from $834, and it will  put these laptops for sale in the October.
