Sony Unveils its New Smartphone "Xperia Z2" with 5.2 Full HD Screen

Sony has unveiled its new smartphone "Xperia Z2", a device that will compete within the top tier phones .


Sony Xperia Z2 has a screen with new IPS technology, called Live Color LEDs developed by Sony, a technology that improves the clarity and color contrast in the screens of smartphones to make them closer to the truth .

The new smartphone has 5.2 inch Full HD screen with resolution of 1080 × 1920 pixels, while the intensities of the pixels in the screen 424 pixels per inch.

The Xperia Z2 smartphone powered by 2.3 GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor from Qualcomm, the device includes 3 GB of random access memory, also supports the installation of an external memory card of the type "MicroSD".
The accuracy of the rear camera in the new smartphone is 20.7 megapixels, the camera capable of recording 4K resolution video at 30 frames per second. 

The Xperia Z2 smartphone features water and dust resistance, in addition to the large capacity battery, which amounts to 3200 mAh, and the device will run Android Kit Kat 4.4.
Sony intends to launch its smartphone "Xperia Z2" in global markets during the month of March in three colors are black, white and purple, it did not disclose any information about the price of the phone or the markets that will get it first.

CES 2014: Sony Unveils Eloctronic Bracelet Capable of Tracking Daily Activity of User

Sony Company has unveiled a new electronic bracelet through its participation in the exhibition CES 2014 which is currently taking place in Las Vegas city, and extended until the tenth of the current January.


The new electronic bracelet from Sony carries the name "Smart Band", it can track user activity daily, thanks to a digital device called the "Core" where it built with the bracelet.

The company added that the bracelet can track user activity since he woke up until bedtime, where can account steps by the user during the day, and the duration of driving a bike or a car, and calculate the rate of fat burning.


The bracelets can calculate the number of hours that the user sleeps, as well as the number of hours listening to music via the smartphone, the number of hours making calls, and the number of times to take pictures.

Sony electronic bracelets have additional functionality such as alert the user via the vibration when it received a phone call, and music control function that works on smart devices associated with it.

Sony explained that the bracelet "Smart Band" capable display the user activity of the wearer using an application called "LifeLog", dedicated to smart devices running Android operating system.

The Japanese company did not disclose a specific date for the launch of the new electronic bracelet, and it is noteworthy that the "Smart Band" bracelet will be available in several colors are black, white, blue, green, orange, pink, pink , yellow and purple.

CES 2014: Sony Unveils "Xperia Z1 Compact" Smartphone, the Mini Version of Xperia Z1

Sony has unveiled its new smartphone "Xperia Z1 Compact",  which is a smaller version of the Xperia Z1 smartphone.


Sony explained in an event held on the sidelines of its participation in the technical exhibition CES 2014, the new smartphone has 4.3 inch screen with HD resolution and density of pixels estimated at 341 pixels per inch.

The new smartphone powered by 2.2 GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor from "Qualcomm", and Adreno 330 chip for graphics processing.

Xperia Z1 Compact provided by 2 GB random access memory, and 16 GB of internal memory storage expandable via Micro SD external memory card up to 64 GB.

The phone running Android 4.3 operating system, and Sony intends to support the device with "Android Kit Kat 4.4" operating system soon, the phone also supports Near Field Communication "NFC" and " Bluetooth 4.0".

Sony supported its new smartphone by 20.7 megapixels rear camera with "Carl Zeiss" lenses and auto-focus feature in addition to LED flash light, also it has 2 megapixels front-facing camera.

Sony confirmed that the rear and front cameras are able to record Full HD video with speed of 30 frames per second, also confirmed that the phone will receive 2300 mAh battery.

Sony plans to launch the smartphone next month in a number of global markets, but the company did not disclose the price of it, the device will be available in four primary colors are black, white, pink and yellow.

It is noteworthy that the new smartphone features resistant to water and dust, which supports the work under the water a distance of five feet for 30 consecutive minutes.

Motorola unveiled its new smartphone which carries the name "Moto X" and running Android operating system, the smartphone has been developed jointly with Google, and it is considered the first smartphone produced by Motorola in collaboration with Google since Google's acquisition of Motorola in 2011.
  
Moto X smartphone powered by 1.7 GHz Motorola X8 processor, which is a modified version of the Snapdragon S4 Pro processor from "Qualcomm" company, it has 4.7-inch 720p Super AMOLED display and 10 megapixel rear camera.

Sony Unveiled Vaio Tap 11 Tablet the First Sony Tablet Running Windows 8


Sony has unveiled its new tablet Vaio Tap 11 which is the first Sony tablet running Windows 8 operating system during the IFA 2013 which held in Berlin.


Sony Vaio Tap 11 has a 11.6-inch screen with Full HD resolution, and up to Intel Core i7 processor, and holds 8 megapixel camera with EXMOR RS sensor which developed by Sony, also it has the design features put by Sony in recent smartphones from the series "Xperia", including the power button which is made of aluminum.
     
Sony Vaio Tap 11 has a wireless keyboard with a touch pad mouse, and you can connect the tablet with the keyboard for ease of use, the keyboard can also used as a cover for the tablet to protect it when it is not in use. The keyboard has its own battery to increase the work hours of the tablet.
     
Sony Vaio Tap 11 has a microSD port to increase the internal storage, it supports 3G and 4G networks and NFC, and has micro-HDMI and USB 3.0 ports.
    
Sony will put the Vaio Tap 11 tablet for sale in a number of markets at the end of September, but it did not reveal the expected priceof the device.

Sony Announces Xperia Z Ultra With Dust And Water Proof


Sony has officially announced its new smartphone which carries the name "Sony Xperia Z Ultra" as part of its participation in Mobile Asia Expo (MAE 2013) in Shanghai, Xperia Z Ultra is the latest smartphone from Sony running Android operating system.
  
Sony said that the new smartphone is characterized by being thin and super lightweight, which does not exceed its thickness 6.5 millimeters, which makes it one of the thinnest smartphones in the market, It also features resistant to dust and water, which achieves IP55 rate, which allows users to take pictures and record video underwater.
  



Sony Xperia Z Ultra comes with 6.4-inch HD display (1920 x 1080) pixels, with TRILUMINOS technology and supported by X-Reality, the smartphone also works with  2.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor produced by Qualcomm.
  
Sony did not mention the RAM of the device, but comes with 16 GB internal storage which can be expanded via microSD card port, it has 8 megapixel rear camera  and 2 megapixel front-facing camera, with support for "ClearAudio+" audio technology from Sony.

  
Sony Xperia Z Ultra running Android Jelly Bean 4.2 operating system, it supports STAMINA mode which gives the battery longer life, in addition to supporting fourth generation LTE communication technology.
  
Sony said that Xperia Z Ultra will be available in black, white and purple in all over the world during the third quarter of 2013, but the launch date will vary from one market to another, with an indication that the company did not disclose the price of the new device.
