Samsung intends to rely
on the LCD screens to produce a less expensive version of Galaxy Note 3
smartphone.
News report from South
Korean said that Samsung began in a stage production of the new version of
Galaxy Note 3, and this version will be named as "Galaxy Note 3
Lite".
The report said that
Samsung is planning to complete the production of a half million units of the
new version during the month of January next year, that the number of produced
units up to a million and a half units during February.
It is expected that
to Samsung will maintain on the size of the screen in the new version
"5.68 inch", but they will use the LCD screens to reduce the cost of
production.
The basic version of the
Galaxy Note 3 smartphone includes 5.68 inch Super AMOLED screen with Full HD,
which is the screen that hinder Samsung from lowering the price of the phone,
unlike the LCD.
The South Korean company
is seeking to launch the new smartphone during the first months of 2014, where
the report noted that the company expects the arrival of the volume of
sales of the new version to 30 percent of the total sales volume of Galaxy Note
3.
It is expected to unveil
the new smartphone during MWC conference at next February, to be launched
on the market by late February or in March at the latest.
